For battery designs where the plate group stacks are bonded into the case for increased durability, the TBS Epoxy Dispensing Machine type ED1 automates the controlled application of epoxy and includes fully automatic battery type changeover.

Features

  • Up to 6 automotive batteries or up to 2 truck batteries per minute.
  • Fully programmable epoxy quantity setting through the operator interface.
  • Regular automatic purging of the application nozzles ensures that the machine can operate continuously and does not become blocked due to solidification. The nozzles can also be purged manually at any time.
  • Push button changeover is initiated from the operator interface by selecting a battery type from the menu of pre-configured 'recipes'. Automatic changeover includes the nozzle spacing, battery positioning stops and guide rails. All operational process parameters such as timings and volumes are also set and monitored through the interface.
