LID PLACING

Speedshift Lid Placing machines can process automotive and truck batteries and are capable of processing up to 12 batteries per minute. They can be supplied with one, two or three lid placing heads depending upon your required output and can be used individually or as part of a Speedshift assembly line.

Standard Features

  • Push-button tooling changeover - Fully automatic, fast and operator error free recipe controlled changeover. The automatic changeover includes battery positioning stops, front and back guide rails, conveyor lid store positioning and post align positioning.
  • Continuous operation - New lids can be stacked in the conveyor lid store while the lid store continues feeding the machine.
  • Part Loading - The machine will continue to operate even if part of the conveyor lid store is waiting to be loaded. This only applies to machines with more than one pick-up head.
  • Operator Safety - Fully interlocked guarding system for operational safety.
  • Networkable PLC control - allows remote diagnostics, advanced reporting and battery data to be downloaded from other Speedshift machines. All operational process parameters such as timings are also set and monitored through the interface.(Allen Bradley or Siemens panels available)
