AUTOMATIC PARTITION PUNCHING

The Automatic Partition Punching machines were the first to be developed in the Speedshift range of assembly equipment. These modular machines have brought machine tool quality, performance and reliability to the battery assembly line, resulting in less scrap, higher production and improved intercell welding machine performance.

Standard Features

  • Flexible - up to 7 containers per minute, custom configured to suit product mix and volume.
  • Pushbutton changeover - fully automatic, fast battery type changeover and operator error free.
  • New networkable PLC control - allows remote diagnostics and battery data to be downloaded from other Speedshift assembley machines.
  • Automatic pellet removal - the punch head automatically removes the punched out pellet from the container during punching.
  • Common datum points - datum points are shared with the other Speedshift assembley machines.

Speedshift Partition Punching Machine Accessories

  • Automatic ring insert placing - is available on Speedshift partition punching machines. Each head is capable of processing 3 batteries per minute and an additional checking head verifies that the ring inserts are seated properly.

  • Side Terminal Brushing - is available on Speedshift partition punching machines. Precision driven individual brushes clean the lead side terminals in preperation for welding.
