COS6 DEVELOPMENTS

The latest COS6 includes new features and enhancements:
  • Individual PLC control - each module such as the loader, unloader, COS and buffer has its own PLC which allows plenty of processing headroom and fast signal response. All units have step-by-step control for simplified set-up and diagnostics.
  • Robust user interface - All operational process parameters such as temperatures and timings are set and monitored through the operator interface.
  • Solid state sensors have replaced mechanical limit switches.
  • Automatic lug alignment is now located at the load station.
  • Additional lug preparation options including lug brushing (secondary lug cleaning), flux dip, flux brushing, tinning and hot air pre-heat can be fitted depending on requirements.
  • Digital Inverter drives - most motors are now inverter driven for smooth, programmable operation.
  • Insert placing option - post inserts can be automatically prepared and loaded into the mould prior to cast-on.
  • Height setting plates and separator guides - reduces required set up time for jigboxes.
  • Optional 6 zone mould cooling for more accurate temperature control during the cast-on process.
