Standard Features
The NSS 3000 comes with a full-color computer touchscreen with EEPROM backup. The computer touch screen is user friendly and self-teaching.
Rejection of missing plates and double plates is done automatically without the need to stop the machine. The missing and double plate detection system is accurate at all speeds.
The TEKMAX separator guidance system handles thin and fragile recombination material with minimal distortion or compression. The heavy-duty cutter/folder/sealer provides infinitely adjustable separator cut lengths from 110 mm (4.3 in.) to 220 mm (8.6 in.). Automatic sensing of separator material flow is standard.
Plates are transferred into envelopes by a lug chain system. Two ROTO- VAC ® vacuum-operated feeders ensure accurate high speed plate delivery. Feeding is controlled for even plate, bare odd, and odd wrap plate groups. Completed groups are centered, aligned from the sides, and aligned against the bottom. Lugs are aligned in preparation for transfer into a COS machine.
