POST BURNING

The TBS SpeedShift Post Burning Machine range benefit from precisely controlled post burning technology and fully automatic battery type changeover at the push of a button. The machine range is available in various layouts to suit production rates of up to 9 batteries a minute and can be installed as stand alone uints or as part of a complete Speedshift assembly line solution.

Standard Features

  • Controlled Post Burn - independently programmed water cooled mould and burner heads give controlled burn depth and consistent post height.
  • Push-button changeover - fully auotmatic, fast and operator free. The automatic changeover includes positioning of each mould and burner probe as well as all battery positioning stops and front and back guide rails.
  • Intelligent process control - the post burning process is set and monitored through the operator interface. The mould temperature and burn parameters are carefully monitored for consistent post heights and controlled depth of burn. Positional settings and timings are stored safely and can be accessed from the recipe recall functions.
  • Operational safety - fail safe design, safety guards and fume extraction ensure a safe working environment.
  • Networkable PLC control - allows remote diagnostics, advanced reporting and battery data to be downloaded from other Speedshift machines.
  • Computer controlled motor movements - accurate, repeatable positioning of all key process parameters through operator interface using Speedshift closed loop control system. Very precise, small adjustments such as box positioning and placing rate can be made through the operator interface.
