SHORT CIRCUIT TESTING

The SpeedShift Short Circuit Testing machine range set a new benchmark for assembly line short circuit testing. Processing up to 6 automotive batteries per minute and with fully automatic push-button battery type changeover. They are available in versions to suit 6x1, 3x1 and 3x2 battery layouts and can be installed as stand alone units or as part of a complete SpeedShift assembly line solution.

Standard Features

  • Push-button changeover - fully automatic, fast and opertor error free. The automatic changeover includes the all battery positioning stops and front and back guide rails.
  • Intelligent process control - the testing process is et and monitored through the operator interface. All machine positional settings and timings are stored safely and can be accessed from the recipe recall functions.
  • Variable high voltage test - suitable for leaf seperators and enveloped battery groups.
  • Manual test facility - batteries with suspect groups are automatically rejected for further inspection.
  • Networkable PLC control - allows remote diagnostics, advanced statistical and battery data to be downloaded from other SpeedShift machines.
  • Computer controlled motor movements - accurate, repeatable positioning of all key process parameters through operator interface using SpeedShift closed loop control system. Very precise, small adjustments such as box and test head position can be made through the operator interface.
