The TBS Secondary Lid Sealing Machine, type SLS1 builds on the success of the Speedshift LS6 machine by offering a fast and reliable solution for the automatic application of secondary lid covers.

A battery type change on the SLS includes fully automatic changeover of the heating platen, lid holder and all lid holder service connections - at the push of a button.

Features

  • Up to 6 automotive batteries or up to 2 truck batteries per minute. Batteries up to 400mm long processed at 2 per cycle. longer batteries processed singly.
  • Stainless Steel Construction with fully protected electro-mechanical and pneumatic components to resist acid corrosion.
  • Patented box handling and floating platen design ensures even secondary lid seal and allows for some variation in squareness of the primary seal.
  • Process fumes are safely drawn away from line personnel.
  • Push button changeover is initiated from the operator interface by selecting a battery type from the menu of pre-configured 'recipes'. Automatic changeover includes the heating platen, lid holder - including all pneumatic and electrical connections, battery positioning stops and guide rails. All operational process parameters such as timings and temperatures are also set and monitored through the interface.
